How to Measure

NOTE: Our bras are true to size. We recommend getting professionally fitted to know your true size as errors are more likely with self measurements.

We recommend wearing a non padded bra and using a soft tape measure to do this.

STEP 1: MEASURING YOUR BAND SIZE

Your band size is the circumference measurement around your rib cage. Holding the measuring tape parallel to the ground, measure around your rib cage directly under your bust after exhaling. Round the measurement to the nearest whole inch number, up or down. For example, if your measurement says 26 1/4 inches, round down 26 inches. And if your measurement says 26 1/2 inches or more, round up to 27 inches.

* If the measurement is even numbered, add 4 inches to obtain your band size *

* If the measurement is odd numbered, add 5 inches to obtain your band size *

For example, the result of your band size if you measured 27 inches will be:

27″ + 5″ = 32″ band size

STEP 2: MEASURING YOUR BUST SIZE

Continue to keep the measuring tape parallel to the ground and measure around the fullest part of your bust. Make sure you are standing straight with your arms at your side. Round the measurement up or down to the nearest whole number like you did previously in Step 1.

STEP 3: CALCULATING YOUR CUP SIZE

Subtract the band size measurement (number from step 1) from the bust size measurement (number from step 2). This number represents your cup size. For every inch in difference the cup size goes up one size starting at A for one inch difference, B for two inches difference, C for three inches difference and so on.

For example, if bust size is 35 and band size is 32, your cup size is:

35″ – 32″ = 3″ = C

Bra size is 32C
